Inspired by Baz Luhrmann's interpretation (and 1996 film) of Romeo + Juliet, Halsey dedicated her album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom around the visual cues seen throughout the movie. With Halsey's feedback, I was able to design a very Web 1.0, 90's-inspired website that would serve to give fans clues about her upcoming album. This site was truly a blast to design, as I got to do my favorite thing and just get weird.

I teamed up with our in-house motion designer to create a very “sticker” style animation for various different elements on the page, such as cherubs flying into the page, and navigation button transitions.
